What's in your Jar of Awesome for 2020?

Glass jar filled with paper notes.

My wife, Sally, and I have a fun New Year’s tradition.

Throughout the year, whenever something really good or noteworthy happens, we write it down on a piece of paper and stick it in our Jar of Awesome. Yes, there’s an actual jar.

Then, on New Year’s Day, we open the jar and read the notes.

It’s a fun way to remember all the good things that happened during the past year. The notes might be about trips, family events, home projects, professional milestones, or anything else we feel like celebrating.

The Jar of Awesome helps us stay optimistic.

There were a lot of challenges in 2020, but our Jar of Awesome is still pretty full. Each time we look at the jar throughout the year, it’s a visual reminder to be intentional about making great memories.

What’s in your jar?

Take a moment to leave a comment and share one positive memory from 2020. Let’s start 2021 with smiling faces and optimism in our hearts!
